Saxi has been a leading manufacturer of folding wall partitions for over 40 years. In 1971 we developed a new type of sound-insulating folding wall in partnership with the Royal Danish Institute of Technology. Known as the Isolaplan, it proved highly popular thanks to its innovative, reliable design and superior noise control. These qualities are present in all Saxi designs today, complimented by the latest technological features developed in-house at our factory in Sweden.

Features
Airseal®
Rather than rely on complex mechanics with lots of moving parts, Airseal® walls lock into position using compressed air. The result is a very stable, soundproofed wall with friction-free operation – meaning less wear-and-tear and a longer product lifespan.
Turnkey Control
Turnkey Control allows sealing and flattening of the wall simply by turning a key. A small, quiet compressor does the lifting automatically, with no need for manual winding.
Low-impact design
Unlike other folding dividers, Saxi folding walls do not require unsightly floor rails to operate. This makes them an ideal choice for architects and planners seeking a low-impact design.
Remote parking
Varioplan TE is designed with a space-saving remote parking feature. The wall is made up of hinge-free sections (elements) that can be detached, moved onto a branch rail and stowed in a separate bay when not in use.
Remote compressor
Our folding walls are powered by a small, quiet compressor that runs on a standard 220v electric socket. The compressor can be located virtually anywhere, provided a 8 mm air hose can be connected to the top of the wall.
Real-world acoustic testing
We test the acoustic properties of our walls in real-world conditions, which provide far more accurate results than the lab tested values claimed by other brands. Also, unlike other partitions the soundproofing performance of Saxi walls does not deteriorate over time.
Custom options
Saxi folding walls are fully customisable. Various window and door sections are available, plus RAL colour matching on all models (white or grey are offered as standard) and hundreds of laminate finishes from the Formica and Kronospan ranges (Oak or Beech offered as standard).
